The slides are photographs of illustrations from the Graphic and Illustrated London News from late 1883 through to December 1884 (thanks to John Hyett for this information).

The E.G. Wood 1894 catalogue lists the first 42 slides by number, with the last 15 shown as 'additional slides'. The Wrench 1892 catalogue only lists the first 42.
