Notes

The slide listing is from the Lizars and Newton catalogues; the titles on the slides themselves may have been slightly different.

The Chapman catalogue lists only the first 52 slides. The Newton 1913 catalogue lists 54 slides, with two relating to Gladstone's funeral and grave (i.e. post-1898) added after the original set of 52. These were presumably added as a revised version of the GWW set, before that company's slide stock was acquired by Newton in the 1900s.
