“Woolwich Auxiliary - Scripture Examination. - Five lecture talks have been given in as many districts of the Auxiliary by Mr. F. Barnes on the fourthcoming Scholars' Scripture Examination subject, illustrated by the lantern slides provided by the Sunday School Union, and supplemented by others prepared on smoked glass or notice plates, setting out salient points of the narrative, and also giving a series of questions. About 400 children attended. Mr. J. T. Reynolds, the Auxiliary secretary, used his limelight lantern, the cost of slides, etc., being met privately. ”
