“Sussex. - Haywards Heath. - An entertainment was given in the Congregational Church on Wednesday evening, the subject being 'China and the Chinese.' The panoramic views were exhibited by Mr. Mills, with a powerful limelight apparatus, before a large audience. Mr. Styles gave a description of the pictures. The Sunday school children were admitted free to the entertainment after which each one received a bun and an orange. Miss Clarke presided at the harmonium.”
