“Andover - Congregational Sunday Schools. - The first half of the winter series of meetings on Thursday evenings for the scholars and parents, connected with the above schools was held on Thursday, Dec. 16th, when a magic-lantern and lecture illustrating Joseph and his brethren, and 'alone in London,'was given. The series of meetings, altough held weekly, have been well attended, and the teachers are greatly encouraged to continue them. There hasbeen lectures, entertainments, and devotional meetingsand at none of these, meetings has the interest failed.”
