“Camberwell - Presbyterian Sunday School - An exhibition of dissolving views, forming one of the series of Friendly Band entertainments, was given on Thursday evening, 14th December, in the lecture hall, Brunswick-square. Mr. Charles Wakeley, of the Band of Hope Union, delivered the connective lecture, entitled 'Incidents of Heroism and Peril,' and both his remarks, and the excellent views, were well deserving of quiet attention with which they were received. Number in attendance about 150.”
