“Forest Hill - On Thursday, Jan. 19th, a most interesting and instructive lecture, entitled, 'Wanderings by the Sea,' was given by Mr. Luther Hinton, of the Sunday School Union; the lecture was illustrated by about fifty splendid dissolving views representing the dockyards and sea-side resorts from the Medway to Land's End. The large hall adjoining St. John's Church was quite full, and a most enjoyable evening terminated with a hearty vote of thanks to the lecturer.”
