“Ilkley (Wharfdale) - Wesleyan Tea Meeting - On Wednesday, Nov. 25th, the annual children's tea meeting, provided by the Sunday School committee, in connection with the Wesleyan Chapel, was held in their schoolroom, Wells-road, when about 150 partook of the 'social cup'. Tea being over, a magic lantern entertainment was given by Mr. James Monckman; the Rev. J. Whiteside officiated in the capacity of explainer of the various objects exhibited, and the evening altogether was truly a enjoyable one.”
