“'Unexpected Visitors': The Church Army Mission Van, No. 2 (Diocese of Ripon), in charge of Capt. T. W. Castle, assisted by Cadet Dakin, conclude a ten days' visit to this outlying hamlet, recently. (...) Daily house-to-house visiting and preparation brought together large audiences to the out-door services in the evening (...). These were succeeded by even larger attendances at a later hour, when lantern views of sacred subjects were exhibited with suitable hymns, and instruction and personal appeal held the people in deepest attention. (...)”
