“'Our C.A.V. Corps': Three week's mission services were brought to a close by a social tea, followed by a lantern lecture, 'Little Joy's Mission', at which many friends of various denominations were present. The only thing to regret was that the reading room was not large enough to hold many more who would otherwise have come. That these missions have been successful may be known by the fact that when the fortnight was over Capt. Wilkins and Bro. Karris should remain with us for another week. The services have been well attended, the adresses listened to with rapt attention, and the singing of the hymns was hearty. (...)”
