“'Ghosts': On Christmas morning the usual Sunday routine was observed (...). After dinner an entertainment was given by the ladies and gentlemen of the Committee and friends, the Rev. G. Mathews presiding. It consisted of vocal and instrumental music, and a very interesting lantern lecture reading of Dickens' well known Christmas story 'Marley's Ghost', given by Hon. Sec.
