South Wilford, near Nottingham. - As one who attended every meeting, Open-air and Indoor, with one exception, I am able and most willing to testify to the great benefit the 'Southwell' No. II. Van did in their one week's sejourn. The Mission, under Capt. Hambrook and helpers, was the greatest comfort, and filled hearts with hope. Many resolutions were made, and fervent prayers offered for the Church Army and our three friends in particular, that the effect of the Mission my never pass away. Peace and deep love for the saviour's great goodness and self-sacrifice were the feelings after hearing the speakers and seeing the magic lantern pictures. Many in South Wilford will remember with affection and respect the self-denying band whose cheerful countenances proved that living for Christ was indeed joy and happiness. The pictures, especially those on the Passion, and the soul-stirring addresses, accompanying them from the earnest young Captain drew many tears from the thoughtless as well as the thoughtful.
