“'A Universal Smile': The Chester C. A. Van in charge of Capt. Topping and Bro. Lacey has visited this parish. The service on the first night was held in the Working Men's room, but that not being big enough th later services were in the schoolroom, which was packed every night. Capt. Topping gave his addresses in good form and with a good heart (...). There were three services shown by lantern slides on 'The passion of our Lord' and 'The Torn Bible' and with 'Our Lord from His Birth till His death'. (...)”
