“Our wheeled tabernacles: […] The 'Oxford' Van has seen much trouble this month. In spite of having influenza themselves, the officers have pluckily persevered with meetings in at Boxmoor, Redbourn, and Leverstock Green. At the latter place the Vicar mentions an impressive Lantern Service. We are sure God will reward these brave endeavours, and by means of our brothers save souls from the disease of sin, which is far more fatal and widespread even than influenza.”
