“Come again: Capt. Reader and Lieut. Bishop came to Rotherfield on December 11th, and remained until December 24th. The numbers attending the meetings during the last week were most encouraging. Lantern Services for men only were held with marked results. The Evangelists are earnest Christian men, and we trust that rich blessings may rest upon their loyal endeavours to win souls to Christ. This is the first visit of the Church Army Van to Rotherfield, and we hope sincerely that it will not be the last. ”
