“In the evening an interesting lecture was given by A.L. Candler, Esq., F.R.C.S., on 'Functions of the Nictitating Membrane of Birds' Eyes,' illustrated by lantern slides and actual specimens thrown on the screen by the epidiascope. The lecturer was warmly thanked and answered several questions.”
