“Sheerness on Sea - Bethal Congregational Sunday School, Blue Town - About 130 scholars connected with this school were entertained to tea on Wednesday evening, March 20th under the direction of Mr. S. Hare, senior superintendent. After tea the young folks were taken to the chapel adjoining, where a dissolving view entertainment was given them, the subjects selected being 'Outcasts of London', 'The Road to Heaven', 'London Labour and the London Poor' which were described respectively by Messrs. R. Rigby, G. Newton and S. Hare.
